Do we need a Safeguarding Policy in place? Expand Yes, as it's likely you will interact with children, young people and/or vulnerable adults with your project, all groups need to have a Safeguarding Policy in place. Will we need Public Liability Insurance to run our project? Expand Yes, as all projects must be open to members of the public, Public Liability Insurance is required. The costs for obtaining your insurance can be added to the project budget - we just need you to ensure this is in place before your project starts. Can we work with public services or other partners? Expand Yes, partnerships are encouraged where appropriate.
Can projects target a specific group instead of being open to all? Expand Yes - as long as they are free of charge. Ideally your application will provide a clear rational as to why the activities are not open to the general public.
Do projects need to target a specific group/demographic? Expand No, projects can be open to all. Although a variety of activities and participants is encouraged.
Can individuals or informal collectives apply for a micro-grant? Expand Yes - although grants cannot be paid directly into an individual's bank account. Applicants should find a partner organisation or group that can receive the funds on their behalf. She has published over 300 scientific papers, won over two dozen academic prizes, and is listed as one of the most highly cited scientists in the world. Her new book, Art Cure: The Science of How the Arts Transform Our Health uses robust, evidence-based science to demonstrate the potentially life-changing impact cultural engagement can have on our mental and physical wellbeing. Daisy’s research and publications provide extensive evidence to support the work of Creative Lives in championing community-led creative groups, and the impact of everyday creativity.
