Get Creative Outdoors Get Creative is a campaign and festival run by a large group of cultural organisations to celebrate and support the everyday creativity happening across the UK. It aims to inspire people to try something new, and encourage those already being creative to share their passion with others. Get Creative Outdoors Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, two campaigns - 'Get Creative At Home' and 'Get Creative & Make a Difference' - have helped people connect with one another and stay creative during difficult times. Throughout summer 2021, we'll be running 'Get Creative Outdoors'. We're encouraging groups and organisations to host outdoor events or devise fun outdoor activities - and inviting members of the public to visit their local parks, woodlands, commons and back gardens to enjoy being creative. If you're running a creative event outdoors between 22 June and mid-September, or have devised a fun creative activity that people can do outdoors in their own time, then add it to the Get Creative website here. You can also download our handy toolkit to help you publicise your event. And keep an eye on the BBC Arts’ Get Creative page for new inspirational content! #GetCreativeAtHome 2020 During 2020, we concentrated our efforts on supporting the public to creatively express themselves through #GetCreativeAtHome. Many of the fun activities posted on the Get Creative website are still available for you to join in - you can take at look here. You can follow Get Creative on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. If you have any other questions about the campaign, please email [email protected]. Sign up to the Get Creative newsletter to get all the latest information.
