The Light2000 community group is publishing a book which contains a verse poem and a painting for each tree on a tree trail of 25 trees in Kilborney Park, Rostrevor.

The group invited the public, including artistic people to take part in a walk led by a local tree enthusiast in Kilbroney Park. They also offered creative writing workshops to learn the technique of the haibun with local art groups and writers from the area  who submitted works that will be selected by a committee for the book.

The book will be launched combined with a public reading and exhibition of paintings.
