Throughout December 2020, Up for Arts Producers put a spotlight on creative activities by and for radio listeners, every day via some of the BBC Local Radio stations.

Up For Arts is a dynamic partnership between Voluntary Arts and BBC Local Radio, which aims to shine a spotlight on everyday creativity for wellbeing via radio broadcast and local creative projects. Here are some of our current Up for Arts project across the UK, working to promote creative activity and inspire radio listeners to get creative themselves. We work to promote and increase active participation in creative cultural activities.

BBC Radio Leeds

The Creative Advent Calendar featured a creative project happening in West Yorkshire each day and invited locals to get involved by sending their creative ideas to [email protected]. Listen online!
