We are a friendly women's community choir, based in Edinburgh. We love to sing and we enjoy the support of belonging to the group.  We welcome any woman of any age or singing experience (or none) who would like to give it a try (no auditions). Your first week is a try-out and is free.

We learn songs by ear alone (no need to read music, no musical accompaniment) and sing in harmony, usually in three parts: 'top', 'middle' and 'bottom'. You can move between parts and sing the bit you like best.

We sing songs from around the world, often about freedom, women's struggles, strength and solidarity. We enjoy learning new songs, but also enjoy revisiting old favourites.

Wildfire is a 'drop-in' choir and we don't have a set repertoire that we work on progressively, so you can miss a week and not fall behind, and join us at any point in the term.

We meet at Pilrig St. Paul's Church on the corner of Leith Walk and Pilrig Street on Wednesday evenings from September to June. 7.30-9.15pm.
