We've spent 30 years supporting amateur arts to thrive across the UK and the Republic of Ireland - during which time the sector itself has continued to bloom and grow.

By consistently engaging with grassroots communities, as well as policy makers and researchers, Voluntary Arts alongside partners and friends has driven increased creative participation.

Over the last 30 years and specifically the last decade we’ve seen a rise in public interest in everyday making and creativity, illustrated by the growth of television programmes and online activities which showcase and celebrate amateur participation across different art forms. As we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, which has brought into sharp focus the role of creativity for personal and community resilience as well as economic and cultural progression, we aim to support, champion and celebrate creative lives for all.
