The Visual Artist and Craft Makers Awards (VACMA) is a programme of small grant schemes that support visual artists and craft makers in their creative and professional development.

Established by Creative Scotland, in partnership with local authorities and arts organisations, this scheme offers local funding for creative practitioners at all stages of their career. Specifically supporting individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to their work, with funding of between £500 and £1,000 to develop their practice and produce new work, learn new skills or take on new opportunities.

Many of the VACMA schemes also provide mentoring opportunities. The following areas are currently open for applications with a deadline of 4 February -
