Get involved Creativity Map The Palace Youth Theatre The Palace Youth Theatre Out There focus on core skills and learning in depth drama techniques. Out There sessions look at various skills such as devising, script work, story telling, movement based drama and group work. The core group prepares its participants for auditions and performance work and helps with communication skills and confidence. Out There also take part in community and outdoor performances for the general public. We also run annual shows in July that are performed on the main stage of the Palace Theatre, as well as summer workshops which include two performances on the main stage. We usually meet on Mondays 4.30-8.30pm and Tuesdays 5-8.30pm at The Palace Theatre, Alcester Street, Redditch B98 8AE. During the pandemic, we created a series of videos telling the stories from the Cathays Cemetery in Cardiff, and involvement in the project helped all members get through the mental and physical challenges of the pandemic.
