The Make Shift is a monthly, free drop-in for adults to unwind, meet new people and have a go at different arts and crafts.

Remember how much fun it was to make things just for the sake of it? You still can! The Make Shift is for grown-ups who want a bit of that back. No pressure, no perfection, just play.

Join us at The Brickies for relaxed, friendly arts and crafts. Absolutely no experience needed. All materials (and encouragement) provided.

Try something new or bring your own project to work on. It’s free, it’s for adults and it’s a safe space, especially for anyone who feels anxious about joining in.

Every session is different, always welcoming, and you can join in as much or as little as you like. Just show up, make something, meet new people (if you want to), and let yourself play for a while.

We meet on the second Sunday of the month from 1 - 3pm at The Bricklayers Arms (The Brickies), 16-18 High Town Road, Luton LU2 0DD.
