The Arts Society Halifax

Established in 2000 in the heart of Pennine Yorkshire, our Society offers a high quality and wide ranging programme of lectures and visits and welcomes everyone with an interest in the arts and their history.

We meet weekly on Tuesdays between 1pm - 2pm at the Square Chapel in Halifax, HX1 1QG.

Our activities include music & singing, photography & film, poetry, creative writing & spoken word. There are workshops where you can learn to write a song or to take a photo or make an instrument (and more).
