Tesco Bags of Help funding has changed - the simple message is more funding for more local projects that bring benefits to the community. Every two months in Scotland Tesco Bags of Help will be awarding 225 projects with a share of around half a million pounds. Projects across Scotland from Shetland to Selkirk can all apply.

Projects across Scotland from Shetland to Selkirk can apply.

- Projects can be outdoor or indoor improvements, activities and equipment purchases
- Capital and revenue funding between £1000 and £4000
- Community groups, schools, charities, local authorities and not for profits can all apply

Voting for the new projects starts in stores from May 2017 and there is still time to put in your application to catch this next round of voting. So far, Tesco Bags for Life has awarded over £3.5 million to 489 great greenspace projects.

Tesco Bags of Help still fund projects that improve or encourage the use of outdoor spaces, such as allotments and community gardens. But grants can now also fund buying items such as sports kits, camping equipment, spades, litter pickers or specialised medical equipment and improvements to community buildings.
