Formed in 2022, the Sunderland Youth Choir invites young people aged between 7 - 16, of all abilities.

It is supported by Sunderland Music Hub's Young Vocal Leaders and National Youth Choirs GB.

Rehearsals take place weekly, on Mondays, between 5.30pm – 7.30pm at the new City Hall building on the Vaux site (opposite Keel Square, SR1 3AD).

There is no audition process to join the choir, it is open to any young person who is passionate about singing and is keen to develop. The choir is free to attend and will be a brilliant opportunity for participants to meet likeminded young people, sing together and have the chance to perform at events across the city.
