Deadline: open

Spacehive provides a single portal where people with project ideas can build support from their community, ensure their plans are viable, pitch for funding from the crowd and Spacehive partners at the same time, and share the impact they've created.

When you create a project on Spacehive you’re automatically matched with all of the funds that match the same criteria. So a Community Garden project will get matched to a Green Space fund in the same way a playground in Manchester will get matched to Manchester funds! Get your project matched, pitch your project to funds and attract additional support from our partners to help bring your project to life.

Currently, a number of funds are available to support creative and community projects, including:

  • Esmée Fairbairn Foundation - aiming to back new ideas for creating more vibrant local communities in Hull, Manchester and Lewisham, which could bring communities together and have a lasting impact on the local area and local people.
  • #MakeHull Pioineers Fund - a joint initiative between eleven businesses in Hull to help people produce ideas that will bring their civic environment to life.
  • The Mayor of London's Crowdfund London - looking for ideas that show innovation and enterprise and aspire to achieve a wider social good.
  • GLL Better Communities Fund - to help any non profit local community groups – e.g. Clubs, schools, charities and social enterprises - to crowdfund projects that enable people to play, learn and be active together.
  • The UnLtd Spaces for Change Fund - to empower young people to improve unused or under used spaces within their communities.
