South Berks Concert Band is a community wind band whose members have been performing in and around Berkshire and North Hampshire since 1976.

As a community band of over 45 musicians, our members have a mix of experience and abilities, and range in age from teenagers to those in their 70s.

Everyone works together to improve the band, discover new music, and bring quality live music to our audiences, under the guidance of Paul Speed, who has been the band’s Musical Director since 2008.

We play a wide range of musical styles, including film scores, musicals, jazz, traditional marches, contemporary wind band music, classical works, original compositions, and pop music.

New members are always welcome to try us out. No auditions are held, however, due to the standard of music we play, we recommend that players are at least Grade 6 standard.

We meet on Friday evenings from 7:30-10pm at The Link, Tadley Community Centre, Newchurch Road, Tadley RG26 4HN.
