Second City Sound (SCS)is Birmingham’s only female barbershop chorus and performs under the direction of Rod Butcher.

SCS aims to push the boundaries of singing excellence, musicality and performance, and do this by entering prestigious national and regional competitions, performing both locally and further afield and coaching our singers to develop singing techniques.

The chorus accepts invitations to sing at all kinds of functions as well as organising our own shows with our blend of barbershop harmony which is the heartbeat of this worldwide hobby, singing at weddings, civil partnerships and celebrations; corporate and charity events.
