Rattlejag Morris is a mixed gender dance group that has revived and recreated the traditional dances of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, based on their own unique research.

We are a friendly group, and dance and play music for enjoyment but also take our unique brand of Morris, sword, broom, bacca pipes and other dances to events, such as days of dance, festivals, fetes, heritage days locally and across the country (even abroad!) and our own May 1st dawn and Boxing Day celebrations.

We kept our group going during the pandemic with Zoom music sessions, WhatsApp, socially-distanced walks and outside practices at the end of the summer. It's a great social group and it helps keep you fit, too!

We welcome new potential dancers and musicians - no experience needed!

We usually meet on Mondays from 7.45 - 9.45pm (September - April) at Grove St Methodist Hall, Retford, DN22 6LA.
