Ambassadors

Our volunteer Ambassadors are people whose work aligns with our mission, and who add value to our work through their profile and support.

Daisy Fancourt

Professor of Psychobiology & Epidemiology at University College London

Expand

Professor Daisy Fancourt is Professor of Psychobiology & Epidemiology at University College London, Director of the National Centre for Social Prescribing Data & Analysis, and Director of the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Arts & Health.

She has published over 300 scientific papers, won over two dozen academic prizes, and is listed as one of the most highly cited scientists in the world.

Her new book, Art Cure: The Science of How the Arts Transform Our Health uses robust, evidence-based science to demonstrate the potentially life-changing impact cultural engagement can have on our mental and physical wellbeing.

Daisy’s research and publications provide extensive evidence to support the work of Creative Lives in championing community-led creative groups, and the impact of everyday creativity.

Daisy will be speaking about Art Cure at a number of events and festivals throughout 2026.

See the list of Daisy's speaking engagements here

You can also watch our interview with Daisy, filmed at the launch event of Art Cure at Somerset House, London in January 2026.
