Music For All believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play music.

The charity does the following:

  • Promotes the life-changing benefits of music-making
  • Brings free of charge ‘Learn to Play’ experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Donates instruments and music tuition to individuals who need their help
  • Makes grants available to address the musical needs of community music groups and educational organisations.

Funding options

Individual grants - Not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to musical instruments and lessons. Music For All's grant application process helps people fulfil their musical dreams. Young, old, regardless of personal or life challenges, they truly want music to be for all. Maximum grant = £500.

Community Project Funding - Many projects and initiatives take place throughout the UK that aim to bring music to their community. Most would benefit from a 'helping hand' to fulfil their potential in becoming truly sustainable music programmes. Maximum grant = £2,500.
