What? Melodians Steel Orchestra UK was formed in October 1987 by Terry Noel, the Melodians Steel Orchestra UK provides opportunities for people of all ages and from varied social and racial backgrounds to develop musical skills, techniques and a wide repertoire that includes classical, modern, calypso, pop and jazz compositions. We perform at many interesting venues from a Family Day in Wimbledon to The Royal Albert Hall and Windsor Castle. Our smallest group for performances is 7 players but the full orchestra has 30 players.

New players are always welcome even if you have never played the Steel Pan before. Send us an email or turn up for one of our rehearsals. A formal musical education is not necessary as you learn by watching others playing, listening and playing the instruments yourself.
