Light Up Black and African Heritage Calderdale was set up to break barriers, improve lives, promote participation and community cohesion. We facilitate a better understanding of African culture and heritage within the local community by organising African cultural and social events to promote and raise the profile of African community.

Our activities include combined arts, crafts, cookery and music.
