A toolkit for planning free community events in high streets and town centres

Hi! Street Fest was a project produced by Emergency Exit Arts and commissioned by Historic England to celebrate the end of the High Streets Heritage Action Zones scheme in 67 high streets across England. As part of the legacy of Hi! Street Fest, Emergency Exit Arts have released a toolkit to support anyone interested in putting on free community events in their high street or town centre.

The toolkit is a valuable starting point for both small and large events, and will help you to streamline planning and delivery processes, including budgeting, marking, evaluation, and co-creation.
