Founded in 1914 and affiliated to the Yorkshire Photographic Union, Halifax Photographic Society encourages photographers of all abilities to get together and improve their techniques and understanding of photography. The annual programme is compiled with this in mind, and covers a variety of practical sessions, guest speakers, competitions, inter-club battles and club outings.

All are welcome at the club, which meets at Northowram Methodist Church
