Get Creative Festival is an annual event that celebrates creativity across the UK with a whole range of amazing events - organised by you!

As part of this year's summer festival and campaign, Get Creative Outdoors, we have prepared a toolkit for event and activity organisers who are thinking of engaging their local community in a participatory creative experience between July - September 2021.

You will find all the pointers you need and ensure you think about important areas like promotion, collaboration and accessibility when planning your event.

An overview of the festival and the different ways that groups and organisations can participate. We’ll explain the many ways you can get involved with the festival – including organising a Hub or a Cluster – and share some important tips on promotion and evaluation.

The template press releases include some tips and a structure you can customise to promote your events to local press.
