What You Saying? is a raw, honest and inclusive spoken word and poetry night held at Project B in Croydon, South London. What You Saying was born out of a shared experience that some poetry nights are not safe spaces. What You Saying? was founded in 2018 to create a truly inclusive, intersectional and supportive space for everyone to come together and share a love for spoken word and poetry. As well as live shows, there are monthly poetry workshops for women, discussions and writing tasks to build up confidence to perform. What You Saying? actively programmes diverse artists from all walks of life, as well as supporting voices from the local community to encourage listening, learning and sharing to make change together.
