Jestaminute Community Theatre, a CIC based in Redditch, Worcestershire, have been shortlisted for work with Redditch East Aspiring Communities CIC (REACH), for the community pantomime 'The Needlewitch is Coming' - bringing together local heritage (needle making) with story elements from Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

The production was developed with 5 – 75-year-olds from the local area (ensuring all members of the family could be part), brought together through a REACH open day demonstrating elements of scripting, performing and staging as well as production management. Facilitated workshops and professional mentoring helped the community to develop the production from script to stage, with the local volunteers from Men in Sheds helping community members build scenery and props, another teaching the cast some BSL and two public performances held at local school Ipsley RSA Academy, with pupils doing light and sound for final rehearsals and the performances.
