6:30pm – 10pm, Thursday 3 October 2019
Central Hall, Edinburgh

Join Voluntary Arts for a celebration of community-led creative activity across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Discover live performances from music and dance groups, enjoy drinks, canapés and a welcome from the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Fiona Hyslop MSP. The evening will be hosted by BBC Radio Scotland's Janice Forsyth.

Book a table for eight guests and treat them to a showcase of Scottish hospitality and an opportunity to network with artists, community groups and policymakers from across Europe. Bring stories of your own place and people close to home to our celebration in central Edinburgh.

The Epic Awards recognise engagement, innovation, partnership and creativity in voluntary arts groups in Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Bespoke, locally crafted awards will be presented to national winners, runners-up, the People's Choice Award, the Peer Award for Excellence and the Celebrating Diversity Award.

Voluntary Arts is the national strategic development agency for participation in creative, cultural activity. We support the people that set up and run voluntary arts groups across the UK and Ireland.

The ceremony celebration is also the culmination of an international exchange with older artists across Europe in partnership with the Amateo network.

Thanks to our headline sponsors the Open University Scotland, Creative Scotland and support from Tickets For Good.
