A wide range of activities are on offer at our premises, a selection are listed here under the day of the week that they take place.

Our Barn Clubs are kindly run by fellow members and have either an annual term or weekly fee, as shown. All those wishing to join these groups are asked to enrol annually and become a member of the Association. The Classes/Groups run by private hirers are marked with * and can be contacted via their email address, website or telephone number provided.

Monday

KINGSWOOD LACEMAKERS* (Page Room) 7.15pm - 9.15pm - Every 3rd Monday (from 5/9/22)

Group leader: Beverly Gardner 
This is an affiliated self-help group of bobbin Lace makers who meet each Monday afternoon except for the third in the month when the meeting is held at 7.15pm – 9.15pm. New Members are welcome. 

BRISTOL SHOW CHOIR* 7.15pm – 9.15pm Weekly (from 12/9/22)

Singing songs from smash hit West End musicals as well as lesser-known off-Broadway gems, all in acappella, Bristol Show Choir is exciting, fast-paced & a whole load of fun!

Tuesday

GLASS ENGRAVING GROUP* 10.00am - 12.00 noon Weekly Starting 6/09/22 (Grace Room)

Group Leader: Alan Brimson
This operates mainly as a club and caters for those with varying degrees of experience. It also has the advantage of an advice and tuition session every fourth week under the guidance of Mr Chris Ainslee, a professional engraver. New members will be advised where necessary as to what equipment to obtain and a degree of help will be available from existing members during non-tuition sessions.

THE P & Q CLUB 10.00am - 12.00noon Weekly (from 6/09/22) (Jubilee Hall 2) £1.80 per session

Club Leader: Jackie Filer
A happy group of enthusiasts meet as a Club on a self-help basis, with the view to building on the patchwork and quilting skills acquired in previous years. They aim to arrange the occasional demonstration whenever the opportunity presents itself.

TUESDAY ART CLUB 10.00am - 12.00 noon Weekly (from 6/09/22) (Jubilee Hall 1) £1.80 per session

Club Leader: Mrs Sue Brown 
Within a friendly environment our Group members will be encouraged to produce work in any art medium. 
Using oils, water colours, acrylics, pastels, pen, paper, and mixed media. If any members of the group are proficient in any area, we welcome you to offer help and advice to anyone who may need it.  

CAMERA CLUB 7.30-9.30 pm Fortnightly (from 13/09/22) £55 per annum (Concorde Hall)

Wednesday

COUNTED CROSS-STITCH CLUB 10.00am - 12.00 noon Weekly (from 7/9/22) (Page Room) Autumn £ 27.00 Spring £23.40 Summer £1.80 per session

All levels of expertise welcome, beginners especially. Come and join our happy friendly group. We encourage interest in all cross-stitching techniques.

FLOWER ARRANGING 7.30pm - 9.30 pm Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday (from 7/09/22 (Concorde Hall) £47.00 per annum

The overall cost to cover joining the choir (Barn Fee), conductor and pianist comes out at £6.36 per visit. Payment is by instalments.

Persons with some music-reading abilities are welcome. Study the skills & techniques of playing music on hand bells. Learn how to perform as a team & entertain.

GARDENING CLUB 7.30pm - 9.30 pm Monthly (from 8/09/22) (Concorde Hall) (2nd Thursday in month) £35.50 per annum

Friday

This group of enthusiasts has also decided to continue meeting on a self-help basis, with a view to building on the skills acquired in previous years. Several demonstrations for group members, by a visiting specialist, have already been arranged.

MUSIC for ENJOYMENT 2.00pm - 4.00 pm Fortnightly (from 30/09/22) (Grace Room) £18.00 per Annum

An afternoon of recorded music presented by our own members. Mainly Classical (like Classical FM) but other types may be played
