Con Anima is an auditioned amateur chamber choir based in Aberdeen.

The group has been going for almost 20 years and is 'self-managing'. At any one time it has about 24 members, all singers, who perform typically four concerts a year, sometimes augmented by guest singers.

The repertoire is broad, including large-scale works (e.g. Handel’s Messiah with orchestra), a cappella works (e.g. Morten Lauridsen’s Madrigali), new compositions (e.g. Judith Weir’s The Big Picture) and Christmas carols.

We rehearse in St Andrew's Cathedral or Aberdeen Art Gallery.
