The Coach House Trust is a social inclusion charity working with vulnerable adults in a supportive setting, helping participants to build skills and friendships and to engage with their community.

The trust are looking for Volunteer Art Tutors to help participants to develop a self-directed art practice specific to their interests. They work with a variety of mediums, including printmaking, painting, ceramics, and craft. This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge to others within a therapeutic environment and become a part of the Coach House Trust team.

Volunteers will gain valuable experience working with a wide variety of vulnerable groups. The trust offers training opportunities in mental health and learning difficulties delivered by outside agencies such as the NHS, SAMH, GAMH, including (but not limited to) mental health first aid, suicide awareness at all levels, and forensic mental health awareness.

Experience in painting, printmaking, ceramics, dress making/textiles is desired but not essential. Volunteers should be able to commit to one 3 hour session per week for at least a 6 month period. Successful applicants will be required to complete a PVG check. All expenses covered.
