Barnsley and District Art Society is a friendly, open-access group that welcomes artists of all ages and abilities.

We meet regularly to paint and draw together, either themed evenings or personal choice of subject, as well as going on visits to galleries, taking sketch trips and exhibiting our work in local galleries.

We also take part in workshops and demonstrations with professional artists. 

Visitors are very welcome to come along and join in for a small charge. And members pay a yearly subscription.

We meet on alternative Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm at Emmanuel Church, Huddersfield Road, Barnsley S75 1DT.
