Area: Scotland
Deadline: 14 July 2026

Grants are available to enable communities to produce art projects along their local, traffic-free National Cycle Network routes.

The fund, which is supported by the Scottish Government via Transport Scotland, is open to constituted community groups based in Scotland - although they will also consider applications from non-constituted groups, organisations and individuals.

Community-led art projects can use the grants to enhance neighbourhoods and encourage more people to explore their local areas by walking, wheeling and cycling.

The standard grant awarded is £2,500, although a higher award of up to £6,000 is available for projects that can demonstrate how an increased award would have significant impact.

Previous ArtRoots-supported projects have included temporary installations, performances and events, sculptures, heritage signs, information boards and murals.
