Art Explora - Call for volunteers in Birmingham and London

Are you passionate about breaking down the barriers to arts and culture? Are you interested in building experience in the not-for-profit arts and care sectors?

Art Explora is a non-profit arts organisation that aims to share arts and culture with everyone - locally, nationally and internationally - and inspire new encounters between arts and audiences.

Arts at Home supports older people to access arts and culture by encouraging conversation and connection through art. Art Explora is currently looking for volunteers to participate in their Arts at Home sessions in residential care homes.

In these sessions, you will introduce works of art of your choice and facilitate conversations around the artworks with residents. No prior professional experience is needed; Art Explora will provide you with the necessary training.

Arts at Home is being delivered in care homes across locations in London and Birmingham. You will need to be able to travel to the homes independently and pre-agreed local travel expenses will be paid. If you are a confident communicator and passionate about arts, they would love to hear from you!
