Art as Exchange (AAEX) is a platform for collaborative and participatory art, based at Creative Spark, Dundalk, Ireland. Since 2016 the open group of 20+ artists has continuously provided opportunities for local artists to meet, exchange ideas and collaborate. It also created several participatory art projects. Regular bi-weekly evening gatherings. We recently started to also meet in the morning but no regular format has been established yet. Artists are drawn from the worlds of Textiles, Crafts (pottery, woodwork, etc), Drama & performance, Painting, Drawing & Visual Arts, Photography & Film.
