My time is not my own,
dandelions draw me on.
Floating petals
breezing free,
I am the guardian of the garden.

Wife and worker,
daughter, carer,
dog walker and dish washer

MUM!

I care for each one,
cultivate.
Tend,
grow you up
give you sunshine.

But once a full moon comes this

Break

within the clouds.
A gap in tides
my space in time.

The wave starts whispering

cautious courage.
I clasp the pen
and I begin.
