Aileen Nolan is Take A Part Carlow’s Project Coordinator. Her role is to specifically develop and grow Take A Part Carlow, a socially engaged arts initiative, by working to build capacity of the TAPC Arts Action Group membership, promote and manage the programme, and deliver arts projects to the highest standards possible. Her role requires her to link with the artists, their projects, and the community, developing and working towards successful outcomes, stronger relationships, and long term embedding of the Take A Part Carlow model in the Tullow Road community.

With an MA in Creative Arts Management from NUI Galway and an Hons Degree in Fine Art in Context from UWE Bristol, Aileen has over 20 years' practical experience working with communities, artists, and creatives to develop and deliver high quality arts initiatives. She has worked with the Arts Office of Offaly County Council, The Education Department of the National Gallery of Ireland, the Arts Office of Carlow County Council, and Carlow County Development Partnership, alongside various freelance roles as curator, art tutor, and project manager. She has published essays in the VISUAL Inaugural Exhibitions Catalogue, Group for Education in Museums News, and in the National Gallery Symposium Proceedings.
