Projekt Europa has recently announced its 2022 programme, introducing a new set of opportunities to inspire and support professional and non-professional artists alike. Projects aim to create a new local and national communities of migrant theatre makers.

  • PROJEKT EMPOWER 

A five-month mentorship programme designed to build a community of support and inspiration for emerging first generation migrant theatre makers. We’re looking for 10 artists who will be mentored by a truly brilliant gang of senior migrant talent: Omar Elerian, Mehmet Ergen, Anna Fleischle, Kaisa Hammarlund, Thusitha Jayasundera, Arinzé Kene, Ingrid Mackinnon, Lucian Msamati, Hyemi Shin and Caroline Steinbeis. Head over here to find out more about how to apply.   • PROJEKT ELEVATE

Commission for 9 migrant artists to develop ideas for co-created work for their own communities, in collaboration with our brilliant partner theatres - Mercury Theatre, Rose Theatre and Royal & Derngate. PROJEKT EUROPA will support the artists for ten weeks to develop bold and ambitious ideas for co-created work.   • PROJEKT ENCOUNTER

A five-month programme of weekly workshops at The Marlowe Theatre engaging with the local migrant communities in Canterbury with the aim of building an informal community ensemble in the heart of Kent. Join a series of FREE workshops here.
