Javier is a Museum Studies MSc student at the University of Glasgow, where he has developed an interest and awareness in issues relating to inclusivity and accessibility in the museum and heritage sector.

He is interested in exploring the potential of cultural venues and historic buildings to act as catalysts that bridge the gap between these spaces and underrepresented communities. Through creative engagement, he advocates for amplifying their voices and making sure they are heard.

He is joining Creative Lives to help communities thrive through active and meaningful collaboration. He is excited to learn and contribute to the numerous ways in which cultural spaces could feel more welcoming and safer to everyone.
