Creative Lives is funding over 60 new creative projects as part of the DCMS Know Your Neighbourhood Fund: an ambitious 2 year programme to test ways of tackling chronic loneliness.

Our focus is on projects which use everyday creativity to reduce loneliness, by improving wellbeing, skills, confidence, social connections, and pride in place. The Know Your Neighbourhood scheme is being independently evaluated and we are excited to learn and share what difference these creative interventions make.

This event is aimed at everyone involved in our Know Your Neighbourhood projects, and anyone who'd like to learn more about tackling loneliness with creativity. We'll share what's working - and seek advice from others on what's not.

We'll also introduce our funded projects, take a deeper dive into a couple of them, and give space for conversations about loneliness and creativity.

Part of Creative Network, a series of free online discussions on a range of topics which intersect with everyday creativity, led by Creative Lives. The sessions bring people together to learn from, share with, and inspire each other, with expert insight from guest speakers.
