Highlights from previous #CreativeNetwork - West Midlands session:

March 2022: Showcasing Coventry during the Creative Lives Awards

In March we hosted the Creative Lives Awards at the incredible Coventry Cathedral. To honour the UK's current City of Culture, and it's bustling creative scene, West Midlands Development Officer, Nicola Winstanley, led a 'Creative Tour of Coventry'. The walking tour around the city centre took in it's cultural life past, present and future, stopping off at two prominent community led spaces for creativity, Sitting Rooms of Culture at Coventry Market and LTB Showrooms, above The Litten Tree Pub. Here, walk participant Marion Cheung, talks about the tour in her blog. West Midlands Development Officer, Nicola Winstanley, uses walking as a tool in her own creative practice, and has written about the process here

Here's a link to the tour map which you can use to take the Creative Tour of Coventry yourself. And while you're there, why not take the Coventry Grotesque Tour designed by Mary Courtney of Sitting Rooms of Culture
