Area: Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton

Deadline: 11 February 2023

Creative Black Country (CBC) is offering up to £2000 for projects to deliver creative activities in a warm space for local communities in the Black Country.

CBC supports local communities in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to co-create new work that is relevant, authentic and genuinely participatory for people living in the Black Country. It also offers support to communities to develop their skills and confidence in building creative and cultural activities. We expect to award between 8 to 12 commissions. Awards will be on a rolling basis until the 11th February 2023 or until the budget is all allocated.

Successful commissions will be expected to deliver their warm space activity by the 31st March 2023.

Creative Advisers in your area are available to support you in developing and planning your project ideas. Anyone can ask for support from our Creative Advisers, you don’t have to have a formal group or have a fully formed idea, just a desire to do something creative in your local community, and they could help you to develop it into a proposal.

Download the presentation from a recent information session to learn more about the micro-commissions and how to apply.

Guidelines: further details on what to include in your proposal and who is eligible to apply can be found on these guidelines [PDF file].

Full information about the micro-commissions can be found via Creative Black Country's website.
