News & Opportunities Funding City Centre and High Streets Economic Recovery Culture and Events Programme Location: Bristol Deadline: 5pm, Monday 22 August 2022 Bristol City Council is inviting expressions of interest from organisations with experience of working with the community and other stakeholders to co-design and deliver culture and events activity in our priority high streets through to 31 August 2023. That includes various types of activities, such as music, visual art, film, architecture, history, heritage, and events where people can share, celebrate or learn. The aim of the scheme is to bring Bristol residents together, attract and welcome visitors to the high streets and support the economic recovery of the city. The Grant Scheme consists of £200,000 available for the creative and cultural sector to deliver cultural events and activities across four locations in the city centre. There are two levels of grants available: £5,000 to £15,000 Over £15,000 up to a maximum of £50,000 Who can apply? You can submit an expression of interest if you're a community, cultural or creative organisation and you're: Bristol-based a formal organisation, such as a registered charity or community interest company a company limited by guarantee How to apply? The expression of interest application window closes at 5pm on Monday 22 August 2022. Organisations that meet our criteria will be invited for further discussion between Tuesday 30 August and Friday 16 September 2022.
