A Fun Palace is a free event made by local people for their own community. At Fun Palaces people come together to share their skills, passions, and interests, and to show the world just how brilliant and packed full of genius their community is! Events and activities take place across arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage, and sports - all run by and for local communities.

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the campaign by creating your own Fun Palace during the annual Weekend of Celebration, Friday 6 - Sunday 8 October 2023.

Over 45,000 people have made 2500 events this decade and brought together 800,000 people. In 2022, of people who organised a Fun Palace:

• 90% felt stronger community spirit
• 70% said they learnt something new
• 97% thought it made people happier
