Creative Lives is looking for a Freelance Evaluator to support a new project based in Cork. The project is being delivered in partnership with the influential radio station Red FM. The project seeks to increase participation in creative activities to improve wellbeing and reduce isolation in the region.

About the role

We require an experienced evaluator with ideally a track record of using the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scales (WEMWBS). Knowledge and experience of the art, voluntary and community sector is also essential.

Key tasks

  • Collect and analyse the impact of the Creative Lives On Air partnership with Red FM on groups, participants and stakeholders.
  • Specifically measure the impact on new participants joining creative activities using a recognised tool/method.
  • Work alongside the Creative Lives Producer to ensure a quality evaluation process is carried out.
  • Deliver a project evaluation report to comply with funder’s requirements and reporting timelines
  • Work alongside staff and participants with Creative Lives and Red FM to ensure smooth delivery.

Timeline and fee

We are looking to recruit an evaluator to start in February and work alongside the project until June 2023. We estimate that the work will take approximately 20 days and there is a fee of €5000 available, inc. VAT.
