Get Creative
Get Creative is a campaign and festival run by a large group of cultural organisations to celebrate and support the everyday creativity happening across the UK. It aims to inspire people to try something new, and encourage those already being creative to share their passion with others.

Get Creative Outdoors

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, two campaigns - 'Get Creative At Home' and 'Get Creative & Make a Difference' - have helped people connect with one another and stay creative during difficult times.

Throughout the summer of 2021, we ran 'Get Creative Outdoors', encouraging groups and organisations to host outdoor events or devise fun outdoor activities - and inviting members of the public to visit their local parks, woodlands, commons and back gardens to enjoy being creative.

Organisers of creative events activities taking place outdoors (22 June and mid-September) were invited to add them to the Get Creative website here. We also prepared a handy toolkit to help them publicise their events and activities.

BBC Arts’ Get Creative page also featured new inspirational content in relation to the campaign's theme.

Get Creative At Home

#GetCreativeAtHome 2020

During 2020, we concentrated our efforts on supporting the public to creatively express themselves through #GetCreativeAtHome. Many of the fun activities posted on the Get Creative website are still available for you to join in - you can take at look here.
