The Maidstone Singers is an a capella choir of 23 experienced singers. We perform from a wide repertoire of over 200 pieces ranging from 16th C to 21st C compositions, and covering both sacred and secular music. TMS is based in Maidstone and tour regularly both within the UK and abroad. Our latest tour was to Germany and Luxembourg, and we are currently performing joint concerts in Norwich and Maidstone with the Keswick Hall Choir. At least once during the year we invite singers to join us to undertake larger works that require larger forces than an a capella choir can provide. This year we will be performing Carmina Burana. The choir is active in the community and supports the Heart of Kent Hospice with regular sessions for service users and their carers.
