In May 2022, Creative Lives embarked on a tour of Scotland with Glasgow-based orchestra, Scottish Ensemble.

We visited the Isle of Mull, Isle of Skye, Inverness, Aberdeen, Shetland and Dundee - each time displaying a beautiful selection of paintings, photographs, pottery, textiles and ceramics created by amateur and semi-professional artists from across Scotland, for audience members to view during the interval.

Each piece was accompanied by a short explanation of what - or more specifically where - in Scotland inspired the artwork.

The exhibition was drawn from an open call and, by the very nature of a touring exhibition, not everyone could come along! So we're delighted that now, many more of the works we received for the Scottish Creations open call are now available to view online - plus all the works from the original exhibition.
