Location: Bromley

Deadline: 31 August 2022

Magpie Dance is the UK’s leading dance charity for people with learning disabilities, leveraging over 35 years of experience and expertise.

It's programme includes dance classes, training, and workshops for people with learning disabilities each year and celebrate their work through live and digital public engagement events, benefitting 1,200 participants every year. During the pandemic, Magpie Dance adapted quickly and ambitiously to meet the needs of its community through digital means. Learning from this experience and embracing digital, the charity is currently experiencing an energetic period of growth.

Magpie Dance is now looking to appoint up to four individuals to join its Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the organisation, working to ensure that the charity is well equipped to enhance the lives of the communities we serve. Our Trustees also act as ambassadors for Magpie Dance, actively promoting our work and leveraging opportunities to advance its mission.

If you would like to play a key role in shaping the exciting future of Magpie Dance and contribute to making positive impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities, we would love to hear from you.
