Community groups can apply for up to £5,000 from the ArtRoots Fund for projects that make artistic and aesthetic improvements to the National Cycle Network in Scotland.

The aim of the fund is to support local enterprise and culture, whilst also showcasing talent, intergenerational co-operation, expression, and create a platform for youngsters to be heard through the arts.

It also encourages communities to actively participate in shaping their local environment and increase their levels of physical activity. Applications from non-constituted groups will be considered.

Funding rounds typically run three times a year, but interested groups are encouraged to submit an online expression of interest form at their earliest convenience.

More information and details of the next round of funding can be found on the Sustrans website.
